Description: I managed the Art Department on 10 titles, and multi-tasked as an animator on four of them. Most of the daily tasks were to resolve any issues that the artist may be having to complete the tasks I assigned to them. I also worked with Managers of other departments and companies, to ship the products out on time. I assisted in conceptual design and monitored style consistency within the project. I confirmed QA on initial art implementations. I budgeted time estimates for tasks assigned to artists and was responsible to advise for hiring of Art candidates and terminating personnel. I trained entry level/interns to become full production artist and also provided experienced advice to mid to senior level artist. I supervised animations produced by animators and assisted in conveying true emotions,timing, weight transfer and convincing motions through Handkey or from Motion capture. I produced character models and rigged them for proper deformations, while maintaining team camaraderie during crunch time and common activities.
